ACCREDITATION

Program Overview & Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), PharmDs, and other healthcare professionals who are currently managing and treating patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD).

Learning Objectives

  • Analyze the latest diagnostic criteria for PAH and PH-ILD to improve early detection and patient outcomes.

  • Evaluate the safety and efficacy of current pharmacological treatments for PAH and PH-ILD, including antifibrotic therapy.

  • Apply multidisciplinary approaches to the management of PAH and PH-ILD patients, to enhance patient care.
     

Accreditation Information

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower and Focus Medical Communications. Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.00 ANCC contact hour, which includes 0.50 pharmacology credits.

 

Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1.00 AAPA Category 1 CME credit. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 contact hour (0.10 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy credit. Credit will be provided to the NABP CPE Monitor within 60 days after the activity is completed.

This activity is certified as a knowledge-based CPE.
